Central Region & Texas Office Leadership Transition
30+ year broker veteran and former President of Burr & Temkin retires.
Since joining the firm in 1994, Dave has been instrumental in expanding Burr & Temkin’s presence across Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Missouri. Throughout his tenure, Dave earned a reputation as a broker knowledgeable in site development, LTL terminal design, multi-property liquidations, and adaptive reuse of transportation properties.
Dave’s work has significantly shaped Burr & Temkin, and the Central U.S. and Texas transportation property landscape. His inspiring leadership, decades-long expertise, and integrity have served as a benchmark for the firm—a standard that will endure.
As part of the firm’s succession plan, Dave’s son, Jon Dandurand, VP of the Central Office and Texas, will assume Dave’s role and manage the two offices, becoming a Principal of the firm.
Jon brings a dynamic approach and keen understanding of industrial properties and the regional markets. He exemplifies the firm’s mission of providing specialized knowledge and excellent service to transportation clients and investors, and will ensure a seamless transition.
As Dave settles into retirement, he plans on spending more time with his 5 grandkids, playing golf, attending K-State football games, repurposing antique window frames with stained glass, and cruising in his restored 1972 Blazer or 1965 C-10.
